Behaviour Therapy

Guiding Positive Change Through Understanding and Support

Service Description

Behaviour Therapy involves identifying the causes and patterns behind a person’s behavior, then using positive strategies to promote healthy habits and coping skills. These strategies may include reinforcement, structured routines, visual supports, social stories, and behavior modification plans tailored to each individual's unique needs. Therapists work closely with families, caregivers, and educators to ensure that positive behaviors are supported across all environments — home, school, and community. Goals of Behaviour Therapy: Reduce disruptive or harmful behaviors (e.g., hitting, self-injury, meltdowns) Improve attention, impulse control, and task completion Teach coping and problem-solving skills Develop age-appropriate social and communication skills Support emotional regulation and adaptability Foster independence in daily routines Our Approach: We use a compassionate, child-centered model grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA- Individual and Group Therapy), Cognitive Behavioral Theory(CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Theory(REBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) principles, while also incorporating play, visual cues, and family training. Therapy sessions are engaging, consistent, and adapted to the individual’s developmental level.
